And we're back!

Where did those three weeks go? I've been AWOL, I know. I had a fortnight in LA (yay!) and arrived back last weekend. The extra week of radio silence? I've just been jetlagged and a bit sick and trying to get back into a semblance of a routine. But I promise to make it up to you with a packed schedule on Creme this week. In the meantime, wanna hear what I got up to on holiday?

I got to hang out with this guy...at Langers, no less. Double love.

Enjoyed some Pinky cuddles...

Realised how much I'd missed my BFF Maisy...

Insisted on an impromptu photo shoot in front of the most glorious bouganvillea.

Wondered why I'd left LA, city of 1.5L of gin for $28?!

LOLed at how LA does art - vintage porn + beer = happy husband

Hiked to the top of town...

Scoffed down a delicious Sqirl breakfast...

Soaked up LA's visual pleasures...

Came to the realisation that the city's complete lack of humidity is the difference between a good hair day and a horrendous one (eff you, Sydney).

Indulged in some guilty American pleasures - tiki cocktails and mozarella sticks...

Got nekkid in a Korean bath house before enjoying this sauna that felt like being in a giant kitty litter box (in the best way possible?)

Retoxed with Jeni's icecream, which had just opened in Los Feliz (and spotted the grumpy bint from Parks & Rec queueing up with us)

Spent lots of quality time with the ladies...

Enjoyed some neighbourhood strolls...

Welcomed the first lot of visitors: my aunty, her boyfriend and their two lovely friends...

Ate spaghetti and meatballs with Jon Hamm (third time I've spotted that dude in LA)...

Tried not to laugh (too hard) at Marty and Elayne's unique performance of Rat Pack standards at The Dresden...

Hiked with the Brits...

Then took them for dinner at one of Hollywood's oldest restaurants, Musso & Frank's...

Stole a couple of hours in the Huntington Library and Gardens...

Welcomed the second installment to town - Michael's sister Georgina, and her three kids...

Yes, that's a flaming margarita...

Took a little day trip down to Long Beach...

Introduced the Tassie contingent to all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ...

Hit the outlets in the desert...

And stopped for a burger at the oldest operating McDonalds on the way...

Farewelled the Brits (and had an early celebration for Barb's birthday)...

Accidentally drove past Randy's Donuts, which I've been dying to see...

And then, suddenly, it was time to say my goodbyes...

It was a hectic, fun and love-filled two weeks. I already miss everyone. But Hawaii in six weeks!
